What makes it worse is AA was the best bang for the buck hands down in the mid 2000s. Great subs and CHEAP.

x2, and they had some great sales too. I got four 12" and two 10" TC2+ motored woofers for under $400 shipped to me.

Absolutely dogg... I meant the prices are all over the place for a specific sub. One place has a sub at say 400.00 and another at 485.00.

Didn't catch what kind of power you intended to run. Just to throw it out there, 3 15's is the same cone area as pair of 18's. May help if you plan to run a lot of power down the road.

Can't think of any 18 that I'd really go crazy for in that price range at the moment. I say pick one out of a hat and focus on a good box.

Yeah I'm going with Havoc I think... I'm going used but it's on hold for the moment. I need to set up a good enclosure...
