Best oscilloscope for setting gains at home

I have used a eBay cheapo for years now. Does the job just fine. Biggest suggestion is NOT to use YouTube for the test tones, many of them are clipped horribly. The easiest way is to find a phone app that has test tones. I use the DD audio app.

If it's just audio, I wouldn't spend too much.

yall think i should just run the DSO 152? I just didn't know if a cheap oscilloscope would give me bad/faulty readings leading me to set gains inaccuratley

If you're trying to do in depth scientific type testing a cheap might throw a bad reading but to check for a clipped signal it's fine and it'd be more accurate than then say a dd-1
