Refurb amps are often times better than new because they go through way more tests. Some people are just ignorant. You can get a refurb Viper 1200 off ikesound right now for 220 with a 3 month warranty. Great deal, solid amp.

the refurb viper d1200.1 sounds like a good deal, but i could also get a hifonics bx1500d for about the same price. i was also offered an audiobahn a2502dp for about the same as the other two, but im not sure which one to get. ive heard at least one bad thing about each (ive also heard some good stuff too), but all im askin is which of these would help me get the most for my money running them at 1.5 ohms with my alum12q's?

da only bad thing ive heard/experienced about the viper is the wire terminals. pain in the BUTT!

just get the hifonics bx1500d from ebay its about 240 ish shipped. i just got one, im only expecting to get 1200ish watts but i only need 1000 anyway. so it may be rated to high at 1500 but 1200 for 240 shipped is still pretty good. isnt someone in classifieds selling bx2200 from hifoincs for 200 shipped?

Um, no. I bought a refurb from ikesound, ike said there was a three month warranty. Got the amp, and there was a paper in it- a six month warranty directly from DEI.

ha same here, probly gone be awhile til i get it back tho
