Best Mono for $180-$250

came into a problem with money and not sure what to get (i need to get back to workin but im bein lazy), im lookin for an amp from 1000w-1600w rms right now cuza some money issues but i just want to have enough to satisfy me until i want to really go overboard with bass.

i just need a lil help on finding an amp in the $180-$250 price range. ill take new or refurbished. the subs ill be pushin are two audiobahn alum12q (big mistake cuz theyr dual 6 ohm and cuz they audiobahn, even tho i never had any problems installin or usin them) so i can wire them to 1.5 ohms.

so what would be the best amp to push these at 1.5 ohms and for the given price range? i just need a lil help and advice....

Hifonics may be your best bet here... a BX1500D 1500w @ 1ohm goes for about $260, or you could go with the lesser 1000D, either way they're pretty good amps for that kind of money.

lanzar 1200d, like 220 shipped new with a year of warrantyof ebay. VERY solid amp for the money, puts out rated power and barely heats up........ excellent fr the money

ok so ive been lookin at what you guys have been tellin me and i see the hifonics bx1500d, the viper d1200.1 (refurb), and was offered an audiobahn a2502dp, but ive heard problems with everyone of these amps....

i heard that the 1500d is way underrated, i heard that refurbs are a waste cuz u dont kno what was wrong with them, and ive heard from everybody that audiobahn amps are garbage. so i just need a lil bit more help could any of u clear up what ive HEARD cuz i dont have any experience wit these items.

vipers are not bad amps, they are rock solid amps that put out true power, just because they are refurb means nothing, i bought one from teamcsw off ebay, it is a real nice amp, i cant say much about any others, but orions and directed make viper which they quit making viper because they were competing with their selves kinda, so they are for sell, they might be anything wrong with them but just extras they had when the ended them or if there was they fixed it an tested it, but mine had no scratches on it, it looked brand new

i wouldnt go with viper, they dont produce them anymore so there is no warranty on them at all, if they had a warranty i would go with them, i am going to purchase the power acoustik 2400db.

Um, no. I bought a refurb from ikesound, ike said there was a three month warranty. Got the amp, and there was a paper in it- a six month warranty directly from DEI.

Refurb amps are often times better than new because they go through way more tests. Some people are just ignorant. You can get a refurb Viper 1200 off ikesound right now for 220 with a 3 month warranty. Great deal, solid amp.
