Best Midrange on PE.com that can take 125 rms??

I wanna make some loud door pods for my doors, 2 mids per side, I have a credit on partsexpress.com, Im doing an active setup and I need 4 of the same midrange ( 63hz-6k ) getting 125rms a piece, prefer 7" or less, hopefully I can get a grill for them aswell. Something that sounds good by experience

Was hoping someone stumbled across a gem sometime recently

Home speaker?? They sell all kinds of speakers, PA, I seen some high powerred seleniums and such, but I dont know which actually sound good in a car environment

What ohm? 8ohm? If so, the Alpha 6 is my go-to speaker. They also have a 4 ohm version if you need it. Will do great on 125rms. Dont let looks of price decieve you, its a great speaker. The people who come on here and talk smack about pro audio stuff have never heard it installed and tuned correctly. Those who have can vouch for what it can do. These will sound good and get nasty loud. I dare you to break one of these. Ive put 250rms to each, used them as a door stop where doors and feet were slamming into them, hooked them up as subs and beat on them, and dropped them more times than you could imagine. The Eminence are beasts. Build quality is great.

Theres also the Selenium. Great speaker, but Im partial to the Eminence just because Ive used them for years and years and they are basically indestuctable. The Selenium 6s are killer speakers too. Sound good, get loud, and an even better price. Only comes in 8 ohm.

The cleanest and loudest out of all options of these 3 is the B&C. Speaker will laugh at 125rms. You will pay for it though, its quite a bit more expensive than the others.

Id like to keep the budget under $150 for the 4 speakers, unless there something thats worth saving the extra bucks.

Ill check those links you posted in a sec galactic, I want something that produces GREAT quitar and kick drums, I listen to mostly rock and I like listenning to it LOUD. Ive already got tweeters, I just need loud midrange n vocals, in the bottom of my doors, probably off axis

Well galactic Id prefer to keep it all 4 ohm drivers, as my amp does 125 X4, but I suppose I could bridge it to do 250 X 2 (its a kicker kx 750.4) and rum 8 ohmers

what speakers would you say are the best for my intention

Your going to have lobing issues trying to use four drivers to cover frequencies up to 6k, even if you use a driver as small as a 3" placed as close together as possible.

I strongly suggest against using PA speakers and instead use Hi-Fi drivers. With that said, many Hi-Fi drivers will not handle 125 RMS, but will certainly sound better than PA speakers. Pro audio drivers are made to handle a lot of power because their purpose is to reproduce an input signal directly and shoot it right back out into space as loudly as possible. As such, they are not used for critical listening and they tend to sound sterile and flat. If you're just going to maximum volume, then sure, I see no problem at all with that. If you actually want to listen to your music, then Hi-Fi cones are your only option. Which is it?

The seleniums and SEAS along with OEM are some of the best SQ PA speakers around and alot of SQ guys use them in their builds. Its more than a coincidence.

It's not a coincidence at all because they are going not just for SQ, but lots of output as well. If he's not really pushing 125W to just one mid, then Hi-Fi drivers will give a better sound every time. It's just what they're made to do.
