Best gauge to split into 4's?

You sir just earned n00b status.
The bigger the wire, the less resistance, which equals LESS strain on your electrical system. By upgrading to 0 gauge, your charging system will be lessed strained than having 4 gauge.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Sure thing sore-***.

jus cuz u worked at a instal shop at 16 doesnt mean shit. i worked at ccity and you know why i dont brag about it? cuz theyr all idiots. as are 90 percent of the shops out there.

op, what amps are you running. in general, bigger wire means less resistance. that being said, there's a point of diminishing returns. while overdoing wiring certainly won't hurt, at a certain point, the increased cost of larger wire will gain you little to no gain in performance.

I have a DLS A6 and some 4 channel kenwood. It gives 125 rms to 2 channels each I think. Im gonna upgrade that to something that can give 250 rms per channel(2 chan)

2 gauge should be fine with the amps i run i have 2 gauge going to the back then split into 3 4 gauge runs and i have no problems what so ever.
x2 wit that power go 2 ga nd save sum money. unless u plan on upgrading in the future to a much higher powered system, then id recommend 0/1 to save money long terrrmmm

thought about running each channel (left and right) at 2ohms? Often time, that doubles or almost doubles your wattage given to each side.
