best deadener?

All I've used is Dynamat (In my Best Buy phase, half a decade ago) and Second Skin's Luxury Liner.

I can vouch for the Luxury Liner, made my Japcrap piece of car quiet. I also have 33ft^2 of Alpha Damp, that shit is heavy. Can't wait to use it.
