well i'm no politcion but doesn't that only mean that less people will cheat the government and buy their stuff in canada, helping our ecconomy in the long run? also i don't think that the chang in values is purely US influenced... but i do know that double cheesburgurgers are now 1.07% when i remember 10 year ago a single cheesburger was 1.17% thats what i call economy, lol... and people are to quick to blame gas prices on people to... here is something to think about... after 911 air travel decreased dramatically, the air industry just got hit hard, i have 3 freinds whos parents were laid-off from the air lines... so naturally the loss of air travel leads to the gain of road travel... population is increasing too... this year the population here jumped about 60%... thats alot of people to be using alot of gas... also i like gas prices going up because this pressures the use of alternative fuels or more efficient transportation(i'm worried that my kids won't be able to breath from pollution) i'm by no means a tree hugger, but almost NOTHING is being done... its scarey...

Although you are a dummy, there is a McDonald's world standard, if you will. It is called the Big Mac Index. It is used as a proxy for currency valuations. Why do you use the percent sign (%) instead of the dollar sign ($)? I can't think of a single currency that uses the % sign.
