Best 5.25 for midbass

i wasnt a huge fan of the midbass dept in my old diamond hex's i also had the 6.5's in a really sealed door ..as excelerator mentioned they sounded really good on classical and jazz.

XMAX: 4.8 mm - that's more than some subwoofers!

These should have more bass/mid-bass potetial than the hex's... but always remember, install quality is number one.... an average speaker with a great install can sound better than a great speaker with a poor install. Make sure the baffle is rigid and that you eliminate or minimize air leaks.
