Best 2 subs for around 250-270? Running off..

MTX TA 7801.. I am ready to try something different than my 18" Fi Q and am wondering what subs are my best options for around 250-270.. I would like the same bang as my Q but still have some SQ..

Shoot some reccommendations!!

Im just wanting to try something different.. I was thinking about 2 12" RE SE.. will these out perform one 18' Q?

check out the Lethal Injection from Incriminator Audio, rated @ 600rms but can handle more. Your amp should give them 750rms a piece which is perfect. check out my review in the sub/speaker section review section

Are you actually talking about $270 total for both speakers?

You must be since your looking at 2 re se's. Not a lot of options.

I see 3, and re se is not one of them, if the goal is to get a little

louder or deeper.

The three options that model best for me in that price range are:

1. AQ sd2.5 15's (best) 8 cubes at 32hz-34hz

2. PG rsd 12 - 6 or so cubes at 32hz

3. AQ sd2.5 12 - 5 cubes at 35hz (just a little more if everything is perfect)

I think if the re se 12's are perfectly installed on your 1200w, you'll get the just

a little less than the fi q 18, which by your build log, looks well done in your SUV.

Either AQ 15 will do fine in 4 to 4.5 net. The 2.5 will happily tune a little lower than the HDC3 and 36-38Hz is optimal for the HDC3. So the 4.5 at 38Hz enclosure you mention is good, and a little smaller would still be okay. Just like 9 net at 32-34hz would still be good for the sdc2.5 15's. I just like a little lower tuning, especially if he likes the sound of an fi q18. Also I tend to agree with those who say do nothing, keep the q18.
