You're trying too hard to sell your gear dude. He can get a brand new TC Sounds Epic subwoofer for $180, or any SA model by Sundown. Neither of those are crap.

Dont let the low wattage fool you. They will easily handle more than rated and dont require much power to perform well because of their efficiency. They will work in 2-3cu/ft sealed or around 3 for ported. SSA Dcon series is easily one of the best well rounded performing drivers in their class/price range.

not saying they aren't if i'm not mistaken they are built by ascendant,just like the fi and the big crossfire subs

My brother had 2 power acoustic mofo 15's on an audiopipe ap30001d in his 2003 envoy and hit a 147.6db so they definitely get loud but as far as sound quality goes they definitely lacked in that area.
