Beginner system and need help!

Hey im about to get a car and i plan on getting a system once i get it so ive been looking around and im just asking if anyone knows if SPL SP3-15's are any good or Power Acoustik MOFO's are any good.I was also looking at DD's or DC's because i do like the undergroud type subs i just dont really know where i can get some. I want something that will hit hard and im not to familiar with subs. Also, if you could suggest an amp that could power this. Thanks, and by the way im looking to spend from $200-450 on a sub and amp.

SPL is a parent company of Power Acoustik and is marketed as the lower of the 2 so the sp3 is basically a Power Acoustik P3 with minor changes. The Mofo would perform far better. But there are still better choices out there.

spl and pa are fail. The dd and dc is nice stuff though. ssa is also nice stuff and made in the usa.
