...that was my last setup & it was pretty nice for a $600 system running under 500w. Dcons are excellent budget subs. I've heard the IA 187s are nice also.

where are you in MI? I can build a box if you need. Also you said you are getting a car, maybe I missed it, but do you know what yet? The sub that is best for you, at least in part, depends on what car you have.

This is a box for a DCON 15" it is 4.6cf net. it just fit in the trunk.

Hey guy's fng here sorry for butting in lol but I need some advice....I am about to buy 2 15" memphis mojo's they are the older style with the 4 spoke basket price is $180 for both is that a good deal ? or should I get something different ? Boxes very in price depending on what you want. the one I posted would be about $100. I design them to fit in your ride, and work with your sub and music type. Prices vary. But 100-150 is normal for a custom box. (they can way more if you go crazy on the design)

I don't know anything about Cadence, but looking at the sub on WooferEtc.com I noticed the specs said:

X-MAX: 26-30mm PEAK-TO-PEAK

Most good subs are listed as "one way" which would be half that #. (ex: x-max = 12mm.) The DCON's that were mentioned earlier have 16mm x-max. This is just one spec out of many. But if the are trying to stretch this spec to make it look better, what else is done just for looks? Again I have never heard one of these - I could be wrong.

If you had the money the ascendant arsenal is a nice sub, but there are many other good subs in your price range in the classifieds on here. get a decent amp and it will not only bump but sound good as well. If you are able to I would wait a little while and save a little more money up and buy better equipment instead of buying crap just because you want a system. You want to buy good gear so it not only performs well for you but holds some value so when you decide to upgrade it is worth something to someone else.

Not to mention the overall build quality and sound quality difference of cheap crap and good products.
