Beginner looking for help...

Ok...so I'm about to install my amp and everything and I need to know something.

I have the blue wire on the connection that plugs into the cd player and I have a blue wire on my wiring harness... do I connect them together or do I run the one on my cd player to the amp?

If I run the one on the cd player to the amp what do I do with the one on the wiring harness? Just leave it be?

I'd venture to guess that's your remote turn on lead. Wire the blue wire from your head unit directly back to the amplifier. What kind of stock sound system does your car have? It's possible that the blue wire on your wiring harness is the turn on lead to a stock amplifier. Just tape it off.

Whatever comes with an 08 Pontiac G5 without the Pioneer system upgrade.

I just wont connect either of um right now...right this second I'm putting in a new cd player. Never had and aftermarket amp or subs before.
