Alright I have 1 aq hdc a 12, and I am going to buy a 3000-4000 watt amp, run rms around 2000 to two hdc a 12s. I am going to buy a new alternator around 100-150 amps, will I need a seperate battery?

i'm gonna go ahead and say yes, even though that was pretty vague.

so you want to run only the battery under the hood and a 3-4k watt amp?

it won't work...get something like a xspower d3100 by the amp and it will be good
