battery wiring argument

what most guys i see that compete wire everything from front to back and ground the amp at the rear battery/batteries since the rear battery/batteries are already grounded to the front.

 
well what does the guy at the shop consider grounding the amps in the back?
he didnt say ground the amps to the chassis.he just said to ground them. he could of meant ground the amps to the rear battery neg terminal. in which case he would be pulling power from the 2nd battery as well.

am i misunderstanding you?
i didn't stick around long enough for him to clarify

i'm good...the power wire from front to back is fused on both ends. The power wire from trunk batt to amps (which is only 3 feet long) is fused to protect wire and goes to a fused distro block to protect amps.

no reason for the grounds to be fused
