Ok guys, here is my dilemna. Normally I'd use 4 guage w/100 amp fuse, but after lookin at the IASCA recommendations I'm thinkin 2 guage w/100 amp fuse would be better. Here is what I'll be running:
Phoenix Gold x100.2 - Rated 100x2 from 4-1 ohm stereo, benched at 130x2 at 4ohm I believe. I will be running this at 4 ohm. I believe the fuse rating is 40A (That seems like alot no?)
Phoenix Gold x600.1 - Rated 600x1 from 4-1 ohm, but these things have been known to put out upwards of 800w @ 4 ohms. Won't have the original birthsheet to know for sure though. Fused rating is 60 amps.
I figure the power cable length will be around 17 feet, give or take a couple. Would 4 guage be enough? It seems like I'd be better off with 2, but I'm not an expert.
