Battery Terminals Wiring...

when using this type of battery terminal linky ...if i am connecting 2-ring terminals to the bolt do i need to seperate them with a washer or nut of some sort?or can the ring terminals be right on top of one another with the wing nut holding them down? they are gonna be 2-1/0 ga. ring terminals fyi...

thats what i got. i have a 2awg and a 4 awg running off it + the positive 0awg from my alt running to it. it works fine.

If you havent already bought those terminals, look into these ones. I like them very much and they are very easy to use, and offer a lot of versatility.

but can u put 2-1/0 ga. ring terminals on that one bolt? i basically only need a terminal that can stand 2-1/0 ga. ring terminals or connections...

Electrons travel through metal like water through a pipe so stacking will not affect anything.

Why do you need two 1/0g wires?, a single 1/0g should handle 200 amps of power to the trunk no problem, its doubtful your amplifiers are going to need anymore then 150 amps of continuous current and using a distro block with two 4/0g outputs will work fine as a 4/0g will handle up to 150 amps of current when kept under 4 feet in length.
