so i dropped my kinetik 1800 under the hood today, wired it all up and was all but done shutting the hood when i realized..the terminal posts sit up to high for the hood to close!! lol. im talking like maybe 1/2 an inch here...will the kinetik side post adapters solve the problem? how do they work? also, im using these as terminal connectors:

AutoZone.com | Marine battery terminal with brass plated wing nut | Marine battery terminal with brass plated wing nut

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!

Don't use the terminal posts, use the screws, but with screws you have to put ring connectors on the cables to screw the positive and negative on. I got the hc1400R on my mitsubishi mirage coupe, and I did it that way because I thought the battery would be high like that for my hood. I got 3 positive cables to the battery. 1 from alternator, 1 from amp and fuse, then another to something else not sure, then just one for the negative ground. So I needed 4 ring connectors. I got 4 gauge on my battery.

thats n option, i have all 1/0 wore to the battery tho. with the exception of my stock setup of course...i think i will go to autozone n see if i can find 1/0 ring terminals large enough to get around the screws..
