OK, my opinion is still Kinetik best overall, performance and value. They can be found for decent prices. They will usually be more expensive than the bargain brands, but less then some of the others out there. They have great performance. They don't inflate their rating like others do. Their model number is the watts RMS they can handle.

I think that the Deka Intimidator line is by far one of the best values, but I have not been able to test them directly, so I am going off other opinions that have them. I have read some competitors say the Deka doesn't burp as well as the other brands, but that is just what people have said on forums.

I have read many competitors really like the Odyssey 2150 and the Stinger SP2150 (same battery inside) the best right now. Those are usually more expensive than any other brand. That is not to say a deal cannot be had, but when they are regarded as the best, then you pay a premium.

Haha, true. If you want the reserve capacity you gotta have the lead to make it happen. HC2400's still weigh 70lbs each, and D3100's weigh 77lbs I believe. Both of those options would be a good bit more expensive than mine though...especially the Powermasters.

Ryan has never really mentioned how old those batteries were. If they are a few years old, they might not have more capacity than a new G31 battery. If it were me, unless they were half the price of the Deka, I would buy new batteries.
