Battery Replacement

I am going to upgrade my battery, my 2006 Mercedes E350 will have two amps totaling 1800 watts. I had this battery in my Lincoln and worked flawlessly with the same two amps.. but unsure if it will be enough in my Mercedes as its a higher quality car and has more going on in it. NAV, Fiber Optics wiring, factory amp for harman kardon logic 7 surround sound.

SHURiKEN SK-BT80 12V Car Battery Power Cell (SKBT80)

my current battery in the Mercedes shows:

EN Rating: 850A

Amp Hours: 95Ah

Voltage: 12V

does that make a difference on the Amp Hours? My stock as more AH then the aftermarket.

any comments, thoughts and opinions are appreciated. thanks

I am just curious if my stock battery will be okay with 1800 system. but isn't it best to replace the battery either way when installing 1500+ watt systems, correct?

yeah but where can I get one to fit my car. I talked to Nathan over at ExcessiveAmperage.com and he said the following:

I have not built one for that particular vehicle yet. It shows you have a 180 amp Bosch alternator on it. Im not sure how much more I would be able to get from it, it's a pretty high amp form the factory so I am not sure how much room there is to get more windings on the stator stack and still have good clearances from the case. Honestly, I would try it first and see how it does. It might do okay with a good car audio battery.

What is the manufacture of you current battery. Spec wise it has more capacity than the shuriken. Do you know if it is an agm?

Don't the E350s have dual batteries? One under hood and one in trunk?
Yes. they do.

When you are looking at audio batteries you are looking at more than the specs. Audio batteries are designed to discharge and charge very fast. Thats why a good audio battery will outdo mulitible standard batteries.
