Battery relocation

So while my car is down, im going to be relocating my batter to the trunk.

My question is :

What size fusing would i need at the battery in the trunk?

And what size fusing would i need at the terminals in the engine bay?

im using 12v breaker switches instead of fuses.

I have options between 20 and 300A pretty much.

Im not running any amps.

Just doing what is stated above.

you size fuses based on the wire ampacity. if you run 4awg - use 150A fuses. if you use 1/0 use 250A fuses.

fuses provide over-current (wire) and short circuit (battery) protection.

alright. Just wanted to make sure.

And when starting the car with a 200 or 250a fuse on 0ga, i dont have to worry about it pulling too much current right?
