Kinetik or Optima?

I'm running a kicker sx 1250.1 @ 1 ohm to two 500-700watt rms 15's.

Should I just replace my regular battery upfront with a stronger battery and that will be enough? Or put the battery in the trunk while retaining my old one up front for starting?

Price somewhat matters, looking to get a deal, but not cheap cheap, ya dig?

Also been trying to find my f************** alternator to see how strong/weak it is. 1996 crown vic 4.6L. I can't even find it on the internet. A site that tells me this, that u might know about, would b great

Found out to get a better than stock one is near 500 dollars, so really trying to avoid that if at all possible.

Using 0 awg, and um, ne help is much appreciated!

130 amp and with the price of optimas now why spend the near same amount for a battery with 30-40% less capacity?

With a 130 amp alt, I would suggest that you keep your alt and get a Kinetik 1200 and toss it in the trunk.

yeah with a 130 amp alt, go with a kentic battery, I believe they are more bang for the buck vs optimas(im not a big fan of those),

Go with an HC 800, 1400 or maybe even 1800(If you go on any website, they are pretty expensive) so ebay it brand new, and its your best friend. Unless of course you want to order on a website and get the same exact product for $100 more. Just buy from a reptutable seller. You can get one ranging from $130-$200 or so...

Yea I'm most definetely an Ebay fan when it comes to items I see as having a hard time effing up.

Got my 0 gauge off ebay, and will get the kinetik off there too.

Prefer scoring my subs n amps locally, cuz if they break (and its not my fault, no problem owning up when it is) I know where those ppl live
