Battery rack

I am thinking of putting a battery rack over my wheel well in my 99 4runner. I would do this so that I could have a couple more inches in the back of my car so that I could move the box further back. Any other ideas on where to mount it? I would just take some wood and build it right next to the box and a little room to the side.

TL;DR - Any ideas for a battery rack besides behind the enclosure?

Yea i was juat thinkin that . Scratch that. What about under the rear seat?

I don't think there is much room under there sadly. I thought about that also. The wheel well think might work as I have the room for it, just the width of the new box on it's way might cause a problem. Just build a 3 sided square with open top and front so I can put the inputs in. If not, I can just keep it there and figure out sometihng else.

Might be worth measuring ..i thin most big batts are less than 7" wide ..and u can lay them on their side

I am also trying to fit everything under a 16 inch height requirement for safety issues with stealing. I think right now the enclosure would be about 6 inches away from the hatch / trunk but more is always better.
