Battery question

I just picked up two kinetik hc1800's I'm going to stick in the back but my front battery is just some old regular junker.

How important is the front battery? Since I am getting good battery juice just before the amp. Thnx.

not that important... just make sure it takes a charge tho...

depends on how you want to use the system. an 1800 under the hood with the other in back should give you longer life and steady performance where if you added the 2 too the back it could deliver more power. It may take some life off the 1800's being they might get leeched off of by the front battery and if you let the vehicle sit without driving or charging could effect its charge. That is when an isolator may or may not be of intrest to you.

Ok, Thnx for the responses. It looks like it will be ok for a bit then. I have one more comp to do then I'll pull them while I try to decide on what car to use for my bigger build.
