When I start my truck the front batt reads 14v, however when i turn the truck off the resting voltage drops to 12.3-12.5v. Is this normal or should it be reading more towards 13v. I have 2 Stinger SPV35's in the back that rest at 13v+ but my Rockford/Exide up front will not rest at any higher than 12.5v. Could there be something wrong with the battery or is this normal? The Big 3 is done in 2/0awg and I have an Iraggi 220Aalt, 150 at idle. Is this a normal reading or should it be resting more towards 13v+? Just wondering because if it should be reading higher I know there is something wrong and I need to find a new starting batt.
