Finally Has Bass Again
Im not trying to make this another one of those Vs threads. But i do have some questions concerning extra batteries as the pertain to my application.

I will be running 100.2 and 2 Sundown 1500d's. Would it be more beneficial for me to pick up 2 Deka Intimidator 9A31's or to go ahead and get a Kinetic 2400( or 2000 depending on what i can find).

I'd prefer that only those who know a significant amount about things of this nature reply.

Seems to me the Deka is made as a starting battery, while the kinetik is a deep cycle. Capacity wise the 2 Deka's added up would be alot more (200ah) while the kinetik only has 128ah. But Cranking amp wise the kinetik would be the better choice because u can draw more curent quicker then the dekas. 1700 CA compared to the Dekas 1000CA. Weight is pretty much exacally the same. U might save a little money on gettin the Deka's but after buying 2 of course u end up spending alot more.

Both batteries are sealed so that shouldn't be a problem.

I would get the 2400 as a 2nd bat, and upgrade w/e u have under the hood (a lower model kinetik as well to match ESR ratings).

Thing is, Kinetic doesnt even release their ESR ratings
And i actually haven't found Deka's

If found every other statistic but not the ESR rating
x2 thats why i just said he should match the front bat with the back bat, didn't matter if it was the deka or the kinetik.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

based on dollars spent 2 vs 1 the deka would do better 2 vs 2 however would lean back towards the kinetik. its basically what you want to base the most important factor in costs or performance also depends what/how you are going to use it for specifically

Actually I'd just like to get the best for my money. In total my current setup is costing me around 3,000....And Ive been piecing it together. Its finally coming close 2 being complete but i just want "the best bang for my buck" so to speak.
