Battery made a huge difference!

I switched my stock front battery and squeezed in a hc2400 as a replacement. On a test tone @ idle +ac/lights/etc i used to drop to 11.7 volts, now with the new battery, it doesn't drop lower then 12.9.

I was expecting a difference but i didn't expect it to be this big. Over 1 volt difference just replacing the battery was much more then i hoped for!

btw, i'm running a 15" fi Q off an pa 2400db. Had it set with a dmm ~ 1500 watts + ~250 for the fronts.

stock alt sir?
yep, its a 105amp-110amp stock, dont remember which but one of those two.

nice, i am going to try the hc1400+big three and hope to get the same results as you with a little less power.
those voltages are @ idle with a test tone as well, voltage drop is even less on music while driving.

Now get rid of the PA amp....
the amp has been working fine so far, i've heard they may be overrated thats why i got the 2400db. Its rated @ 1800 rms @ 1ohm, and i have the gains set @ 1500w, no problems so far...
