so i know what your all gonna say its your alt. but heres the catch. i have volt meters in my car to keep an eye on my voltage at my amps. alts still charging fine. all batteries sit at 12.83 to .87ish car off. any one figure out a reason or what could be triggerin the battery light. car runs fine still, and i can still rail on it full tilt and only drop to low 13.1 & 13.3?

Battery light comes on when alternator output voltage is lower than battery voltage i believe

did you just do the big 3? if so, same thing happened to mine. my DIC gives me a system chargin error, or battery saver active message, but i have a HO alt, 2 kinetik bats, and big 3, and my voltage is sitting 1.9v above stock and i believe my computer feels my alt is working to hard when my voltage is that high, thus the messages....

year, make, model?

naw had the big 3 done for a while. the cars a 2002 mazda protege. i did just buy a new batt charger for the car. so i have been chargen my batts on the regular and have keep the voltage up higher than usual.

why are you chargin batts? Your alt should keep it up once they are charged up, if it doesnt you need a bigger one. Also what amperage are you charging at? Certain settings it charges higher than 14v, the jump start on my big one is over 16v.

I know you already stated this, but usually the only reason this thing illuminates is due to the charging system not being capable to supply consistant efficient power to your battery(s).
