My back batter keeps loosing its charge and I'm wondering why. i have it hooked up to a 200amp battery isolator and everything is good there. Just wondering why it is losing charge I usually just charge the battery back to full charge and that lasts about 2 weeks. Please help

I would say the battery is around a year old maybe its a yellow top optime

Have it grounded to the metal in the trunk.. i need to get it down to no paint the more I think about it

O gauge

Yes bare metal a must or even secure it to bare metal on your frame

Yellow top about a year so if it is the batt itself still under warranty then if you bought it new

Did you buy it from automotive shop or stereo shop?

Anyway try checking and/or changing your ground, then if it's still acting up

go by an auto parts store and have them check it out with their batt tester

got it from an audio shop and will be changing the ground and hopefully that works if not I guess I will have to get it tested. Thanks for the help you think there could be anything elsethat could cause this?

Bad fuse or isolator connection? Try checking the power wire on the batt with dmm maybe. I've had a corroded fuse do some similar things after water somehow got under the tape and through the "water-proof" seal lol.
