Battery draining for no apparent reason?

So last Friday I was driving around working all day, which requires a lot of starting and stopping. Everything was working fine. At the end of the day, I park the car and go out of town until Monday. When I get up to start the car, the battery is completely dead. So I put a new one in it, and the next day, same thing. I can't figure out why the battery is dying. There are no lights being left on, no electrical accessories left on, nothing of the sort. The car is pretty old, so there really aren't that many electrical functions in it anyway.

Any ideas as to what is draining the battery?

same thing happened to my friend's car. We never really did found the problem, he just had to disconnect the battery everytime he park..lol It was a old car too so he didnt bother to get it fix. Maybe the alternator was going out I dunno.
