Battery Drain

I was getting ready to leave work, but when I tried to start my car I had no electrical power, I popped the hood and my negative terminal was somewhat loose, and after jiggling it around the problem was solved. Their was some corrosion buildup on the negative terminal, then but 5-6 days later my battery died overnight, nothing in the car was on(lights, cd player) and the battery is 2 months old. I have a portable battery charger, so I rrecharged my battery cleaned off the corrosion and tightened down the negative terminal, and has worked well so far. Does anyone know if my battery drain was due to corrosion or my amp somehow drawing current with the car off? And should I wait to hook my amp up again?

My battery died because of corrosion in my ZX. The contact surface between terminal and post was nothing so yeah, not touching = no electrical current. Get new terminals and get some of the terminal protectant spray stuff.

also go back and make sure all of the installed components are not hooked directly to the batt except the amp 12V and that the remote from the HU is working correctly.
