Battery Charging at 15 volts ??

I got a new battery and it says to put on the charger before use. So I put it on, and it starts charging over the 14.8 that I thought was the max.

I just want to confirm if its ok for the batt to be at 15v+ during charging ?

Yes, this is my first time charging a batt.

i believe some people train their batteries and charge them at 16v.. i dont know the exact details tho

AGM. I got it though, so nevermind.

They went past 15 but, then came back down to 14.9/8.
