Battery Charger

why did you buy that POS trickle charger?

You could have spent 8 bucks on a trickle charger at Harbor frieght and got the same

end result or better yet buy a real car charger that goes into trickle mode after a full charge

Not even close to true. The Ctek MUS 3300 is way beyond a 2 stage chargerand is alot more tightly regulated than an 8 dollar charger and the Ctek has a float mode as well.

BS! That is a trickle charger: Charging current: 0.8/3.3A max

A "real" charger puts out 8 - 12 amps on standard charging mode and some even boost up to 50A or more for starting or charging large battery banks.

2-3A is great for trickle charge or maintaining a battery over the winter.

Disconnect your ground cable when you charge a dead battery. That way any parasitic loss of your car is not drawing from your charger, so all current is only going to your battery(s).

LOL 50 amp is for prime toasting i guess?

That "trickle charger" can fully charge batteries from 2Ah in size to 90 Ah and more than likely leave quite a bit less sulfation behind than most all 10 amp charger. What you are doing when you are charging is converting plates and acid from 1 state to the other. The more complete and the more regulated it is the better.
