Battery Charger?

I am in need of a charger and was looking at this one it would be used on a pair of deka9a31. Is this the correct type of charger I need? Battery Tender Junior Jr. 12V @ 0.75A [bT-Junior] - $21.99

no thats a tender, its like a trickle charger. puts a small amount of current through your batteries for long term storage. for big batteries like the dekas you're going to want at least a charger capable of 10 amps... i spent about 100 on a vector built black and decker job from lowes and its done a great job keeping my 4 batteries topped off for daily ground pounding. it is a 4/10/20/40 variable current charger, if i were you i would be looking at something like this.

the 4/10/25 version is about 70 dollars. schumacher also makes great chargers although i prefer my black and decker, having had both.

MULTI US 3300 - CTEK SWEDEN AB 70 bucks can be used as a maintaining charger and is tightly regulated as well. Not very fast but is much better than anything else in this price range. Also it does better bringing back a dead battery than anything under 100 bucks. If the 12v lead acid battery is over 6 volts give it a shot, it may suprise you.

I like the Schumacher line. I have the 600 that charges at 2/4/6 amps this one does 2/6/10. I got mine a Wallmart for $30, this one is only 42.00. I got the smaller one because I have smaller motorcycle batteries and powerwheels to charge also. Works like a champ.

I have a Vector one that works well. 2/6/10 brand new on ebay for ~$25 in an auction style listing. My dad has the 2/10/20 Vector and it works great as well.

Thx guys. Went with the vector 2/6/10 for $33 on ebay.
