Battery???? Cap??? or Alternator???

when the b ass hits in my car my lights dimm i know i need more amps out of the battery but i dont know which is the best way to get it.

if i buy a cap i dont know if it'll be enough for when the long bass notes hit or continuous bass notes

if i buy a battery ( a gel cell one) i dont think the alternator is gunna have enough power to charge it _--and if i need a second battery do i hook it up like a cap

if i buy an alternator is prolly a good idea but it cost too much money and do i have to buy a bigger battery???

im broke and i dont wanna break my car so tell me what should i do???

Take a look at what you said there. It is exactly correct. If you are allready having problems with lights dimning and noticeable voltage draw- a cap or battery will do nothing for you. Just a band aid. The alternator is your best bet, as a system is only as good as its weakest piece.

Your best bet would be to get yours re-wound at a local motor winding company- far less expensive- and they still offer a good warranty in most cases.

Your local auto parts stores may sell rebuilt alternators that'll put out more than your stock one. Ask them.
