I got a question i just got my tsunami 1100d amp installed and then like 2 weeks later my battery went dead i mean it was out of water so duh but could the amp have made it use the water and i just bought a new battery but im afraid to turn my system up cause i dont wanna burn up another battery and all of my electrical is stock and im not sure what amp the alt is so could that be whats happining

How old was your batterie? Did you play your stereo alot with the motor off? Do you have the remote turn on hooked directly to the hu or the batterie?

Well the battery was like 5 years old wich is a good life for one but i dotn wnat my system to be running a battery to the end of its life and my remote turn on is ran to my cd player oh yea and i didnt play it that much with my motor off

5 years is not bad for a batterie, sounds like it was just time for replacement. As long as your alt can handle the amp and you dont run your system alot with the motor off you should be alright. I think if you have any problems it will be the alt you need to replace.

well if this battery goes dead then there will be a nice system on here for sale i can tell you that cause i just cnat have this happening but i guess ill just have to see
