bandpass

what do you want to acheive.. a higher gain, a lower tuning, etc.

my calcs say:

you can get a 2 db gain within a passband of 32-84Hz

does that sound good.... ie what are you trying to accomplish?

I can tell you right now it will look something like this:

4thband10assi2.jpg

because of the area/lenght you will need on the ported chamber.

yeap, built many over the years, most turned out pretty well.

One recently for a set of 10's that sounded great... search this forum for the build if your inclined to do so.

i was thinking bandpass because right now i have a soft top on my car so i have no back pressure so the subs excursion is way to much so i thought bandpass would put a little pressure back twords the sub good or bad idea?

this sub it not really designed well for a bandpass enviroment. As you can see with the vented chambers port lenght.

I have done and own a lot of Jeep Wrangler and they seem to do well with a sealed box.
