bandpass through rear deck

I am going to be redoing my box here before too long and thought about going with a bandpass ported through the rear deck. I had a factory 10" in the rear deck so there is a nice open space anyways. I have a pair of RE s-e-x 10"s getting about 800~ watts rms each.

I haven't seen any bandpass/trunk builds so I was wondering if anyone has experience here? I would probably end up with really close to 2:1 ported/sealed and I have a 6" aero I'd be bringing up through the rear deck.

can work nicely if you do it right good sir //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif design it properly your good to go!

edit: driver has a decent QTS value so the box shouldnt be TOOO big

specs to help you out

Electrical Q Value (Qes): 0.46

Mechanical Q Value (Qms): 4.4

Total Speaker Q Value (Qts): 0.42

Free Air Resonance (Fs): 26.6 Hz

Equivalent Compliance (Vas): 31 liters

One-Way, Linear Excursion (Xmax): 18 mm

Efficiency (SPL 1W/1m): 83.2 dB SPL

Effective Piston Area (Sd): 310 cm2

DC Resistance (Re): 2.8 ohm

Nominal Impedance (Znom): Dual 4 ohm

Thermal Power Handling (Pe): 600 W

Force Factor (Bl): 17.7

I've never designed a bandpass but my buddy has done a ton and has quite a few trophies ans titles under his belt but he always does walls and suv's. I was thinking like .6~ sealed each and like 2-2.5 ported.
