Bandpass or Sealed

I have recently installed 1 Alumipro ALCHEMY RX-12 in a Bandpass box with a 600 watt amp in my 2004 altima. the only problem I seem to be having is that it misses high bass notes. any sugestions?

Is the bandpass a custom box made specifically for that sub and to deliver what you need from the sub?

A bandpass box must be made specific to the sub that's going to be installed in it. It also requires that the midbass from the front stage is strong because the box is going to lack heavily in the mid and upper bass region. It sounds like a bandpass is not going to be right for your system and you will be happier with a basic sealed or ported setup.

I say sealed over port anyday. When you go from sealed to port you notice the difference. So go sealed...
