bandpass or ported?

is it really worth the space to gain a few extra decibels over a standard bass reflex?

speakers and power are so easy to come by in cars, space is 99% of the time the most scarce resource in car audio

i wouldn't think a box that's nearly 2x as big would be worth it for a couple extra decibels

if u want to hear a bandpass that hit the lows well and get seriously loud at the same time...u need to hear my caru can ask

80 helped me out with a bandpass box awhile back... only had 2 p1 subs but the difference was amazing

i just got back from db drag at t=rex audio and i upped my bass race score from 132db to 134.94 but i was sandbagging i know i could have went over 135

and thats at the dash sealed up
