bandpass, lots of Q's

well, after a weekend of 8 hour shifts im to lazy to search

but...........

i was curious as to how a bandpass box works, (no need for dumbed down terminology) the difference between the different orders, and possibly examples of/picuters of the innards of each.

also, what makes these different from ported and sealed, and what advantages/disadvantages do they have over sealed or ported.

i know im askin alot but im new into this stuff and really starting to love building systems and all that junk.

I'm starting to play with bandpass designs. Basically this is a combination of a sealed and ported enclosure. You will get a clean transient response (like a sealed box) and gain a couple dB (like a ported box) within the passband if the box is design correctly.
