As far as bandpass goes, are you looking for 4th order or 6th order? 6th order will more than likely be the loudest, but it will have a more narrow band of frequencies it can play so if you're looking for any SQ whatsoever, that should probably be scratched off the list. 4th order however you can get some pretty heavy hitting bass while still being punchy and precise because of the sealed chamber. You could still make it look nice though... have the face of the ported section facing toward the back of the trunk made of plexi and give it a nice good quality paint job on the inside with maybe some LED lights. Are you looking for something you can pop the trunk and show off at car meets/comps or something?

ok all you designers and sketchup artists I am wanting to build a realy badazz band pass enclosure for a single sub (prob 10 in but flexable ) this box will be used as a coffee table in my friends shop waiting area the reason i am seeking designs is i am going to do the lid with plexi so the better looking the design the better i have a few things in mind but just thought i'd throw this out there to all of you

so now i want to try again any of you have any cool 4th order (or 6th order)designs i would like to see them the sub will prob be a JL audio W010v3 maybe a JL W310v3 if you have a design for some thing specific just throw it up i'll look oh yeah i might use a MEMPHIS PR10 reguard less of what sub i use it will be powered by a JL 500/1 so output should be decent //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
