4 10's sealed or 2 10's ported?

I am looking for a new setup for my Titan truck, I am looking at the Phoenix Gold RSDC10 I don't know if I want to go with 2 RSDC 10's ported or should I go with 4 sealed. If anyone can shed some light on the subject I would appreciate it. Also I already have a 4 10 sealed enclosure I had 4 RE SR 10's in and it should be the right airspace for the 10's I think it is .55 a piece. I am looking for the loudest and the lowest playing setup.

if your looking for something especially low end heavy then i would build a decent size low tuned ported box for a pair of woofers.

if your looking for flatter response then go sealed..

4 sealed will get louder due to cone area, but not be as loud on the lows vs a low tuned ported enclosure

buy 4 put them in the box you already have if you don't like the output just sell 2 off and build a ported enlosure for the other 2 I don't see the delema here

I have a sealed box with four 10's and it sucks! right about .5 per chamber. Go two ported. use aero ports because they are easier to use in a truck.

Just curious, why are you bumping an informational thread? You've got your answer confirmed by more than a couple people, if you're looking to go loud, go ported... done deal.

**** it go 4 ported.... but i had 4 memphis 10s sealed and it was nice sounding..... i loved it, but i wanted to go 4 10s ported just to see. but never did...

Don't know if I have the room to do 4 ported its in a Titan
