Banana plugs are a standardized size...at least all the ones I've worked with.

okay... then what guage wire should I use? 8ga?

I'm just trying to wire this dvc 2ohm sub into a 4ohm load

14awg or 12awg would be plenty...

so I went and bought some banana plugs, but they do not fit in the sub's terminals...

I thought the Type S used push-terminals...I know of very few subs that use actual banana plugs.

they have both... in the manual they show the amp wires going in the push terminals and the jumper using banana plugs. Can I just wire the jumper via the push terminals?

thats how your suppose to do it? it goes into the top of the push terminal the part that you "push" on

actually you push down the top, and insert the wire into the side, and then release. thanks for the help.
