Custom fit question

I'm sorta new to this gig guys

is it possible to custom fit 6x9's into the rear doors of a Ford Explorer that fits 5x7's?

my brother had the same problem in his sport trac, just get out a sawzall and you'll be good to go, if you dont have access to one just get a hacksaw blade and get to work.. or invest in a dremel/roto-zip type tool and you can do the same shit and just open where you need for it to fit, i'd suggest a small piece of dynamat for the doors too, dynamat (or something like it ) rocks the house.

i work up there, that place is a mess now, alot of reconstruction, it's been on the way to ghetto for a few years, they are trying to save it...
