Bad Car Wreck - My expereince.

my question is rahter a bit deeper, but if god had your back, then why did the truck veer to begin with?

I don't know why the truck veered.

I will go a bit deeper though......

Why were we able to walk away from an accident like this with no major injuries, and virtually no real minor injuries either?

Most people in a roll over aren't this fortunate.

Going further into the deepness--------->

God did have our back. Perhaps the accident was a wake up call or message, and walking away from it was our chance to act upon it.

That's worth something to think about....

Thats good to hear you two are ok.
Zane what road was this on? Because Im living in Cedar Rapids now and Tuesday and Wednesday were bad days to drive around.

It was on HWY 131, just south of HWY 30. On our way to our shop in Belle Plaine.

Glad to hear your alright, those seatbelts are usually pretty good, I was in a wreck a while back when a 2-ton truck turned in front of the car we where in and we hit it at 60, all 3 of us had seatbelts on and walked out unscratched even though the dash was in our laps almost.

maybe in gods grand design.... he knew that the original thread starter would make this thread, and bring somebody up under his wing when they read it???

the only thing that really matters is that you and your pop are ok, material posessions can always be replaced! sorry don't mean to thread jack ya but i was in a very bad accident 4 weeks ago. i was riding my gsxr 750 (2005) one night it was very cold. i leaned into a turn and tapped the brakes to slow down but due to the severe cold the front tire locked up and the whole bike washed out from under me around 50 mph! i and the bike slid for 20 feet into a 1ft curb, the bike hit and launched into the air doing a front flip landing upside down with the front end completely broken off(only thing holding it all together was the front brake cable.) i followed behind the bike, hit the curb and dip a front flip over the bike, while in mid air my helmet hit the bike and broke off my head. i then hit my head on a light post in mid air and landed face down in the dirt knocked out like a light. when i got up all my boys were around me and thought i was dead. long story short i collapsed my left lung, fractured all ribs on my left side, dislocated my shoulder and severely bruised my left leg and knee (lots of road rash too). i walked away from the accident and truly beleive that god saved my *** cause i was put on this earth to do something and i havn't accomplished it just yet god bless i look at life totally diffrent now and you probably will too !!!!
