Why would I provide experience for the car audio world? I'm not involved in car audio (specifically SPL competitions), nor wish to get involved. It's not something I'd ever be interested in doing. I'm much more heavily involved with home audio. You don't have to accept what I have to say, look it up for yourself but you'll just come to the same conclusion.

I asked for any kind of proof, being sq competitions or spl..

You do not have a DIY sub...maybe in the custom sense but you did not "Do it yourself". You bought a sub and had somebody else design you a box. You are on the same level as the teenager who goes to the shop and buys a driver and has asks for a box to be built for it.

I have nothing to prove to anyone, this is the internet. I tried to educated you, and you rejected what I had to say...you're simply choosing to be ignorant. You're free to research all of my claims yourself. BTW purchasing expensive equipment does not make you informed or an audiophile, it just displays your affluence.

I dont have anymore "expensive" equipment... $3000 for towers aint much and what $700 for a sub aint much either.

My box builder designer has built allot of world champion cars.. so he must know what his doing, no use really debating what I know since I didnt build my box, I designed it and he fixed whatever he saw wrong with it, which to him was tuning frequency only, box size he said was perfect, but if that isnt enough I also have dbdrag stats going as far back as 2000....

You can measure the transfer function of the room and have a computer program "design a box" for you that complements the curve if you want frequency response. Car audio and Home audio are not interchangeable.

Why are you assuming things? He runs a car audio company and does HT on the side..His been at the same location like what 15 years...We didnt even use any software to come up with the dimensions and tuning for my box... It was based of past experiences from previous installations...

Pretty amazing for my non DIY box that I am building this while debating with 3 guys at the same time.. Its nowhere near done though. I should get off this comp and get as much done as possible tonight.. still need to paint it and add some braces and do some sanding..

Look, not every company can be one of the Bose's of the world. Some just dont have that edge. But thats no reason to discount B&W, they make alright mid-level stuff.

I personally think each side of this likes stroking his/her own egos. I am actually glad to be "ignorant" I find the money you guys spend on elite home audio BS to be waaaaay beyond the point of diminishing returns.
