AUX input on 880prs

I can't seem to find a clear-cut answer to this.

I'm thinking of getting the 880prs, but I need to make sure it has a 3.5mm aux input. I know that there's a 2.5mm aux input on the front, on the under side of the face, but having seen a picture of the back of the head unit, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated 3.5mm aux input, like in some of the newer Pioneer units. There's a "wired remote" jack, and of course the IP-bus jack.

From what I've gathered from searching the forums, people are implying that the wired remote jack in the back also serves as a 3.5mm aux input. Is this true? I'd really like to be certain of this.

There's a separate module needed for the AUX input on the back of the 880. Or there is the 2.5MM jack on the front that is the other aux input, also used for the auto TA/EQ mic.

Just buy a 3.5 to 2.5 headphone plug adapter, they are cheap, like 5 bucks at rat shack.
