Alpine CDM-7861 Sound Cuts Out

Over the past year the audio has been cutting out intermitently. Usually, I could lower the volume and the sound would come back, but lately that doesn't work. Seems once the car warms-up, it gets worse too.

I've had the unit for 4 years, and wondering if the electronics in the face plate are the culprit or I've got bigger issues.

Any advice?

Somethign internally probably has worn out. Are you looking for a replacement?
